Out of the Cocoon

Phew! Finally got the Beemer out of the winter storage cocoon after 5 months of a Canadian winter. Back in late October, I winterized the bike and made sure it was well protected from the elements. I removed the gel battery, seats, cases and ....well, anything that could be affected by the long Canadian winter. What wasn't brought inside was lubricated or sealed against critters who seek refuge in the damnedest places . Finally, I wrapped the fairings and the bike in heavy moving blankets and put it in a protective enclosure. The most discriminating of hibernating animals would be proud.
So, from Halloween through to Easter, I go from excitement to nostalgia, to frustration to anticipation. Now finally, back to excitement. Yeehaaa!
