Found a GREAT biking road!
Hunting for the perfect motorcycle road is a quest worthy of Cervantes. I am not sure if I found it exactly, but pretty close! The road from Inverness past the Black Isle through to Ullapool has to be one of the contenders. I left my aunt's place very early in the morning heading for Ullapool to make the morning crossing on the Isle of Lewis car ferry. There wasn't a soul on the road and the conditions were excellent - fog and highland mist notwithstanding.
Anyway, the bike seldom went under 140 km all the way there and I got into town about an hour and a half early. What a great ride!
